British public positive about aviation despite environmental concerns.

• Environmental concerns increasing but people still want to fly
• Reducing environmental impact of flying seen as biggest benefit of modernising airspace

An overwhelming majority of the British public (81%) have a positive view of aviation, which they see as important both personally, and to the UK economy as a whole. This is according to recent research from NATS, the UK’s leading provider of air traffic navigation services and Savanta ComRes (a leading research consultancy).
