Making noise complaints about John Wayne Airport flights just got a 21st-century upgrade with the introduction of a new noise event system.
The Viewpoint system, which rolled out earlier this month, lets users report noisy flights or other issues from a smartphone or computer through its portal, which sends them to the airport’s noise and operations management system.
People can also create a profile to track anything they’ve submitted to ensure airport officials received it.
